All Saints Church Events
Our Programme of Events for 2011 makes an early-morning start at 8.30 am on Saturday, 22nd January, with a Cake Stall
in Church Street. Cakes, scones, rusks, jam and marmalade, freshly made in Stradbroke, will be on sale.
The next Beetle Drive is in the Community Centre at 7.30 pm on Friday, 27th January. It's £3.00 to come in, tea or coffee included, again on Fridays 24th February and March.
The forms for a place at the 2011 Art Exhibition will be posted early in February. This year it is open from Thursday, 28th April
to Monday, 2nd May, from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm, with a Preview, with refreshments, on Wednesday, 27th April from 7.00 to 9.00 pm
Many hundreds of paintings will be displayed in All Saints Church, and for sale. To exhibit, please telephone 01379 384642.
We are also looking forward to the Stradbroke Village Show of Flowers, Vegetables, Produce and Handicrafts on Saturday, 30th July in the Community Centre. Schedules will be available in February at the Post Office to give all those wishing to enter the Show plenty of time to make preparations.
Do be ready on Saturday, 5th March, from 8.30 am in Church Street, until 10.00 am, when seed potatoes and a bucket will be
on sale for a competition to grow the heaviest potatoes, to be weighed on the Show Day, Saturday 30th July. This is at the same time as the Cake Stall has produce from Stradbroke kitchens for you to buy. For more information about the Show, telephone Roly Copping on 01379 384839.
